Week One: Survival Priorities & Safety
Learn the crucial Survival Priorities, based on the "Rule of Threes" (Air, Shelter, Water, Food).
Master the S.T.O.P. method (Stop, Think, Observe, Plan)—the vital first step to combat panic and create a survival strategy.
Study Hazard Identification and learn how to pack a thorough kit using The 10 C's of Survival list.
Week Two: Shelter & Fire
Focus on Shelter as the critical second priority, with tips on site selection and building methods like the Debris Hut.
Learn Fire Safety & Materials, including how to maintain a fire and its various uses in a survival situation.
Week Three: Water & Food
Understand why Water is the Priority over food and how to find and purify water from various natural sources.
Explore potential Food Sources, with lessons on basic Fishing and Foraging techniques.
Week Four: Navigation & Rescue
Get oriented by learning about The Compass, Mapping, and Natural Design for finding direction.
Conclude the unit with lessons on how to effectively signal for Rescue.
