Providing free & affordable homeschool resources and encouragement to homeschool families around the world!
connecting homeschool communities around the globe
Hi friend,
I'm Samantha and I'm so glad you're here!
About For the Love of Homeschooling
In 2018 For the Love of Homeschooling was started as an Instagram account where I shared by family's homeschooling journey. As homeschool mom of 4 at the time I was eager to share the joys and challenges of homeschooling. In 2020 I started creating resources for our family and hosting bundle sales for other creators in the homeschooling community. Since then FTLOH has grown to an award winning homeschool curriculum company with an incredible team of homeschool moms who all work together with one goal in mind: bringing quality, beautiful & affordable educational materials into your homes!
About Our Family
Our family has been homeschooling for 14 years now! Our children are 16, 14, 12, 8 and 3 and we have been homeschooling since 2010!
Over the years, as our family has grown and walked through different seasons of life our homeschool style has changed a ton. We've done the heavily structured homeschool schedules, completely unschooled & done a mix of the two. But no matter what our days look like I've found that a present and loving teacher or parent is truly all our children need to thrive!

Aside from homeschooling, we are off-grid homesteaders who love to raise as much of our own food as possible and live completely off the grid in Northern Canada. I occasionally share more about our family's day-to-day life on our personal Instagram account over on @thisgrowinglife so you can read a bit about our family's journey over there or scroll the gallery below to see a glimpse of our homeschool over the years.
About Our Faith
We are believers in and followers of Jesus Christ who believe that the gospel is to be freely given to all so any scriptural based products that we create are always offered for free. (You can find them here).
Recently my father passed away unexpectedly and that has given me a new perspective on just how important it is to share the gospel while we can. I hope that my dad died trusting in Jesus, but I don't know if he did.
I'm thankful for all of the Bible promises that assure us of Gods love for us and for verses like 2 Peter 3:9 that says " the Lord is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." And John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
I hope that if you're reading this you have put your faith in Jesus. This life is so temporary and can end in a moment but God offers the free gift of salvation to all who believe in Christ. And if you're not sure what to believe I'd be glad to pray for you or with you. ❤️
I know there are lots of views on who God is and Christians are often the first to distort and misrepresent Him but in my experience I have found Him to be kinder, more compassionate and more gracious then I could ever imagine. ❤️ I hope you will come to know Him too.
Two of my favourite Bible verses that have encouraged me time and time again are Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all" and Isaiah 55:6-7 "Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."
