"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you?" - Mat 6:28-30
 
Consider the lilies... a loving reminder from our Savior that He will provide our every need. Specifically, in this verse, we are reminded not to worry about what we will wear or "put on".
 
Throughout scripture, we are given examples of God providing clothing for His children. From the very first garments He made to cover Adam and Eve, to the miracle in causing the clothes of the children of Isreal not to wear out over their 40-year journey in the wilderness to the robes of righteousness with which He covers every one of His believing children.
 
I hope that this resource will be a help in teaching your children to memorize these encouraging verses and to trust Jesus for their physical as well as their spiritual needs.
