Each day in our 10 Week Autumn Family Connection Bundle includes the following focus for family connection:
Monday: Read Alouds & Book Packs - Each Monday will find you cozying up with an autumn-themed read aloud and then completing the activities in the accompanying companion pack! Each week features a unique book pack that has been created to bring the story to life through various activities, including book reports, crafts, puppets, tasty treats, and more!
Tuesday: Watercolor Tutorial - Each Tuesday, your family will slow down and connect while completing a beautiful watercolor tutorial. Each 15-minute tutorial takes you through various skills of sketching, painting, and watercoloring led by talented watercolor artist Bonnie Hunt, who is the lead watercolor artist of For the Love of Homeschooling products! Children and adults of all ages will love the clear and knowledgeable instruction as Bonnie Hunt shares her wealth of experience and techniques in learning to watercolor!
Wednesday: Poetry & Teatime - Wednesdays will find your family gathered together to learn a new form of poetry from our brand new and not yet released poetry unit! Each week, you will learn about, read, and write a new style of poetry, all while enjoying delicious treats and tea!
Thursday: Creative Writing - Grab your Autumn Creative Writing journal and complete one of the writing prompts! Each family member can use the same prompt or choose their own. After you finish your journal entries, share your responses. Another fun option is to have a family response where each person gives one sentence, and then the next person has to build off of that sentence!
Friday: STEM - Fridays are all about Science, Tech, Engineering & Math, with our Autumn collection having a special focus on engineering! Together, you will learn about various forms of engineering and complete fun projects! Whether it’s designing a robot, engineering a bridge, writing an algorithm, building a catapult, or constructing a simple circuit, Fridays will be filled with memorable moments. You will also find fun autumn-themed STEM activities throughout the bundle!
Weekend: Scripture Packs - For weekend connection, we have provided a variety of scripture packs for all ages. You may also choose to complete one of the other packs included in the bundle.
